Our powder room 🤎

It’s funny how so much thought goes into a room that you spend the least amount of time in. But being one of the spaces our guests use, we wanted it to feel just as considered as the rest of the house.

The perfect little entrance nook 🤍
At least now we have a designated spot for all the clutter and it looks cute too 🤣

One of the design choices we made differently in this home was our lighting 🤍

In our last home, we went with surface mounted downlights in our kitchen but this time we knew we wanted to bring in a statement feature somewhere in our open plan space.

Because our kitchen and dining space sit right next to each other, we didn’t want statement lighting in both and have the two spaces competing with each other. So it came down to one statement lighting piece above the dining table or two over the island bench… and the kitchen won 🤎 For our dining space, we went with two double sets of down lights on both ends of the dining table instead of harsh lighting directly above.

Our main downstairs living room 🤎

Definitely the space we use most in our home - morning coffees, lazy afternoons, movie nights and everything else in between. And while I’d love to say it always looks this put together, most days there are blankets covering the couch to protect it from Angus 😂 Because apparently the couch is just as much his as it is ours.

Our laundry 🤍
Everything has a place, everything can be hidden away, helping keep this space neat and organised.. when the washing is under control 😅

Our entrance featuring the goodest of all boys, our Angus 🐶

Sitting at the top of the stairs, keeping watch over everything… just in case someone heads to the kitchen without him 😂🐾

Proof that you don’t need a big space to make it work.
Our little study might not be the biggest room in the house, but it’s the perfect spot to get things done. The linen cupboard doing all the heavy lifting on the other side.
