maturing as a hairstylist is understanding how important the foundation of a sewin really is!! 🤏🏽

I’ve literally seen it ALL when it comes to a braid foundation. I’ve even personally experienced how a bad foundation can ruin the whole hairstyle…even ruin your natural hair. That’s why im sooo picky about who I let in my hair! And you should be too ☺️

let’s remove some wefts 😊😍

My client initially asked me to leave out a larger section for her middle part sewin. The beaded wefts helped blend her leave out seamlessly, while adding fullness to that front area.

Everyone’s hair grows at different rates, on top of any extra mechanical damage, so pay attention to how your hair looks and feels. As soon as you’re combing or brushing through your hair and you see tiny pieces all over the sink, it’s time!! 🩷
