What a July! I've already felt more patriotic than ever this month. So, August, please... take it easy. 😅

We've seen enough of the consequences of misusing "freedom of speech." This Independence Day, as a mother, I'm teaching my #daughter that freedom never gives anyone the right to disrespect another person.

Do words matter?It does for me! If you are a woman who is in pain please don't let your life suffer. you might be thinking just like old me that "what would people say if you make such a decision" but please read these comments "these comments came also from people." Everyone will not support you or stand by you but you will find your true people in this difficult journey, who don't care whether you are married/divorced/separated, for them what matters is that you are alive and happy.

Not promoting divorce/separation but at the same time, I don't want that any woman get murdered, killed, or suicide just because she has done MARRIAGE which comes out as a wrong decision of her life.

Also I wanted these comments to be on the grid as a memory of November 2024

Wow 🫶 how my Gannu Bappa loudly slapped Indian society and patriarchy in the face. 🙏🔥 These Indian fools forgot that The name of Siddhivinayak Temple itself begins with Maa Siddhi. 😁🫠

18th September — Indian society was already assuming it would be a son.

19th September — Siddhivinayak blessed @ranveersingh & @deepikapadukone with a daughter. 🙏❤️

What more proof does India need that Gannu Bappa bless special people with a daughter. 😉

People keep telling me that India has changed, that the younger and educated generation no longer carries the old obsession with having a son. But look at the mindset even today—when a successful, educated celebrity couple welcomes their second daughter, society still feels the need to question the absence of a son. They were assuming, expecting, desiring only Son. If they can't leave a celebrity family alone, how do you think an ordinary woman survives this pressure?

And please don't confuse this with Sanatan Dharma. Sanatan Dharma worships Shakti in countless feminine forms—Maa Durga, Maa Lakshmi, Maa Saraswati, Maa Siddhi. The problem isn't our Hindu Gods; it's the patriarchy these brown people created around them.

Maybe Gannu Bappa didn't just bless a family with a daughter on 19th September. Maybe He gave Indian society another reminder:
A daughter is not what you get when you don't get a son.
A daughter can be the blessing you were meant to receive. 🙏❤️

This is something that has made me incredibly happy in 2026. I honestly wasn’t expecting it to have such a beautiful impact on her mindset.

This happened a couple of months ago when she heard a random YouTube Short saying, “There is no fast for a daughter’s well-being or long life.”

She immediately remembered that I did something for her and came to confirm it. And that smile on her face when she realised that I do it for her was just so precious. 🥰❤️

This year, when Santan Saptami came, she was more excited and happy than me, saying, “Ohhh, I’m that girl whose mother keeps a fast for her!” 😁😊

Every mother fasts and prays for the well-being of her children. My mother did too. But as a daughter, I always felt that those prayers were actually for my brother, because that’s what I grew up reading in Indian mythology and hearing around me — that certain fasts and rituals were meant for a son or a son’s long life.

But the difference in my house is that my daughter has no such confusion.

She knows, 100%, that this prayer is only for her. 🥰🧿💫✨

And I realised — sometimes, children don’t need big speeches about equality.
They just need to feel it in the way we love them. ❤️

Yes, I fast for my daughter.
For her health.
For her happiness.
For her long life.
And most importantly, with absolutely no wish or expectation for a son.

Because a daughter should never grow up wondering if she was prayed for enough.

She is not a second choice.
She is the prayer. ❤️🙏

2026 Special: We chose? No. Bappa chose us. 🙏✨

He chose us to create magic with our own hands because He trusted us—that we could create something that MONEY can’t buy.

This is our own creation of Shiv-Shakti, our beloved Son, Bal Ganesha — 2026. ❤️🙏

I wouldn’t lie—we tried making one in 2023, but we couldn’t keep him for puja because of murti khandan. But this year, Bappa chose us to do it.🧿🙏💫

And honestly, we two were super scared. What if it didn’t turn out the way we expected? What if something went wrong?

We prepared the base in just a few hours at a workshop, but then what happened in my home for the past 10 days was pure craziness. 😂❤️

We kept adding so many things at home—the colours, his dress (which was supposed to be pastel), his jewellery, and everything else.

But when I held Bappa yesterday to place him in his jhanki, I couldn’t believe it. We mother-daughter did it! 🎉

2026 — after doing so many DIYs together, for the first time in my life, I am worshipping Gannu Bappa… created by my daughter and me. 🥹✨

And then I realised…

Maybe Bappa’s biggest blessing isn’t that He lets us create Him.
It’s that He chooses our hands to create His magic. 🙏✨

If this isn’t His blessing, then where does His magic lie? 🥹❤️

#swarabhasker exactly—you are neither Rani Padmavati nor a rape survivor. So when you haven’t personally EXPERIENCED either situation, why speak as though you have the authority to define what someone else should feel, endure, or stand for?

Sometimes, silence is also an option. Not every issue requires an opinion, especially when you haven’t lived through the pain yourself.

We are all human, and we have the choice to remain silent. We all know what's happening around the world but targeting Hindu mythology and Sanatan Dharma is just showing your lowest level.

Why are you people always after Hindu mythology and stories from Sanatan Dharma? If you’re so unhappy with them, then instead of hurting people’s sentiments and beliefs, why don’t you simply follow what you believe in?
