The IWU Varsity Men wrapped up their run at the USBC ITC Sectional today — the first time in program history our team has competed at this event. They came in both days ready to fight, and that’s exactly what they did. Even when they got tired and missed a few easy spares, they never once gave up.

We are unbelievably proud of these men and their determination and hard work, not just this weekend but throughout the entire season. This tournament was a great start for our current players and freshmen, and an amazing finish for our seniors.

To our seniors — this journey has been incredible. From the first time you walked into the bowling center, some of you not even knowing much about bowling, to helping create so many “firsts” for this program, you have accomplished so much. We’re excited to see where God leads you next, both academically and in the bowling world.

For our returning players and those joining the program, we’ve unlocked a new level for our team and our program. The standard has been raised, and we’re ready to keep building, keep pushing, and continue climbing.

Freshman Camden Malott will still be in action after advancing to the Singles competition, so be on the lookout for updates! 🎳

The future of IWU Bowling is bright — and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned… this program is only going up from here.

Day 1 at the USBC ITC in Pittsburgh, Tennessee is in the books, and your IWU Varsity Men are sitting in 1st place by 3 pins after 32 Baker games! The morning started a little rough with quite a few missed spares, but the team battled back and finished strong in the second set. We’re excited to get back on the lanes tomorrow for day 2 and see what more this group can accomplish. We are so proud of them! 🎳 @iwuwildcats taken in AMF Bowling Co. by @iwubowling

Last week, our players came together for our end-of-season banquet to celebrate a season defined by determination, growth, and resilience. These athletes entered the program with powerful goals and exceeded even their own expectations. This season revealed not only who they are as competitors, but who we are as a team — united, driven, and committed to excellence. We are incredibly proud of what they’ve built and confident that the best is still yet to come. by @iwubowling
