Belfast, we had the best time 🫶

We’re so proud to have been part of the first ever @belfastcoffeefestival, alongside some amazing roasters, cafes and equipment brands from across the coffee community.

The energy across the weekend was amazing, and we loved seeing so many people stop by the stand, discover IX and get involved with what we’re building.

And a massive thank you as always to the team at @huskyevents for another great event!

We'll see you in Manchester!📍

Super excited to also be sponsoring the water at Maidenhead Coffee Festival this Sunday ! ☕️

We’ll be supplying IX Water across the festival, with water points in place to keep brewers topped up throughout the day.

A big thank you to the team at @maidenheadcoffeefestival for having us involved and giving IX Water the opportunity to support the event.

We’re really grateful for the opportunities we’re getting to support the coffee industry, work with great people, and be part of events like this.

See you on Sunday! 🫡 by @ix.water

This is something we hear... A LOT.

But is it always true? Let’s talk about it 👀

Straight Reverse Osmosis water has had almost everything removed from it - including minerals like calcium and magnesium.

And those minerals matter. They influence how your coffee extracts and tastes, as well as how the water behaves inside your espresso machine.

RO followed by remineralisation? Yes.
Straight RO water? Not so much.

Coffee needs some minerals in the water to help bring out all the good stuff we want in the cup. So when it comes to water for coffee, it isn’t about stripping everything out - it’s about dialling in the minerals to get the balance right.

And you can’t really know what needs adjusting until you know what you’re starting with...

Not sure what’s in your water? Send us a sample. We’ll test it and help you work out what your setup actually needs.
