last year on july 5th i went into the er with an HGB of 2.9, i went into shock, was resuscitated, spent a night in the ICU and had five blood transfusions. in honor of not dying here are some things i got to experience this year because i am alive. along with many many more.
1. see my brother get married
2. turned 20
3. choreographed and performed @12minutesmaxbellingham
4. visited all my favorite places in sf one last time
5. more choreography for @canvasdance.co
6. got to know an incredible group of people
7. @gibneyeducation winter study
8. shaved my head
9. @dancewear.center ambassador
10. endometriosis surgery diagnosed stage 1
11. visited and committed to @purchasedance
12. produced my own show and sold my art 🥄
13. baked a cake and celebrated @atlashovdesven
14. spiral tattoo to represent the continuation of life @knottedneedles
15. met my favorite person and partner
16. performed with @dancingforjoystudios again
17. visiting and taking classes with my second family @decruzballet by @iz_mvg

i am overwhelmed by the amount of support i had a couple weekends ago for my show “posterity” not only did i produce my first show but i also had the opportunity to sell my art for the first time, and did my first payed photography gig. some big milestones. thank you to all the dancers who participated, to everyone who came to the show and donated to my college fundraiser, my beautiful aunties who sent voice recordings and shared their stories, all the wwu bfa seniors, and everyone else who is continuously following my journey through health struggles and is rooting for my success.
