the world and its people can be beautiful, inside and out, with stories of wonder for all eyes to see 🪞

explored the newly opened Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, CA recently. the architecture and museum design are very thoughtful; i felt it all contributed to this idea of the visual arts and how we view the world around us. you must go see for yourself if you ever have the opportunity!!

jonathan!!

this guy man, so inspirational. real creative talent, so much so that it seeps into his graduation photos.

of course, you can't hear the melodic tunes he's playing as i'm shooting these photos. but i bet you can feel how much fun he has playing music and just being himself.

co-founder of a phenomenal community of music in @404delsol.socal , i present to you jonathan penate 🙂‍↕️ congrats man! i'm so proud of you. by @izcvisuals

xiomara !!

this was such a fun grad shoot to do. i just love how you came in with your own ideas of what pictures you wanted out of this shoot. it was such a fun challenge for me to experiment with shots i've never tried before, and you were endlessly patient with me which i appreciate tons.

congratulations on graduating xio!! your drive is so inspiring and i can't wait to see what you achieve next 🙌 by @izcvisuals

joyce !!

this was my first graduation shoot ever and there was no better person to start with than joyce. her natural joy and beauty radiates from every frame; there was no way i could miss it!

this shoot highlighted to me just how important the relationship between photographer and model is. you work as a team to make each other feel comfortable and really bring out the best each other, and it shows in the end result.

congratulations on graduating joyce, you are so bright in personality and in mind! can't wait to see how you continue to light up the world. 🫶 by @izcvisuals

it's been 8 months since i've visited san diego... but i've come again, this time w/ new friends and a fresh set of eyes 👁

went down to San Diego for my birthday a couple months ago with my family! 🚙

just a stone's throw away from OC, but it was nice to have some new scenery 🗺

got to many a location, including (seen here): torrey pines gliderport, sunset cliffs, ocean beach, japanese friendship garden (+ more!) 📍

if you have any, i'd love more recommendations on where to photograph in SD 📬

from a little visit to Salt Creek Beach down in Dana Point 🏖

spent a sleepy afternoon at the beach just the other day, but not before i got a few cute photos of the scenery!

these ones are pretty simple, but i wanted to practice getting my photos out when im content with them, as opposed to when they're "perfect".

if i waited for perfection, my photos wouldn't see the light of day!

a bit ago, i visited the Huntington Botanical Gardens for the first time.📍

it had rained earlier in the day, but it cleared up a little, giving way to a cool and cloudy day. 🌥

crossing bridges and looking out over the water gave me a sense of peace and tranquility i hadn't felt in a long while. 🦢

take a break with me and enjoy this small oasis 😌

i explored a little bit of Downtown LA and paid a visit to The Last Bookstore📍

i shot these on a Nikon 1 J5, a solid compact camera that fits in my jacket pocket, yet still packs quite the punch in detail!

having a camera that you can bring with you everywhere opens a new world of possibilities 🌎✨️

i hope you capture charming pockets of time in your own life, like i did! 📸

| i see the cars...where's the coffee? ☕️

Car photography usually isnt my forté, but I thought these pics came out particularly well. I think it reflects the laid back air of San Clemente its car community nicely!

| can you hear me? 🫂

I'm going to be upfront. This is in my Top 3 photos taken all time. I fell in love with this photo the moment I saw it in my viewfinder. If I had to speak about the patterns of composition that speak to me the most, I'd use this picture. To me, there's an eerie yet comforting feeling about this image that keeps me captivated everytime I look at it. I hope you have a similar feeling too. 💌
