Liji or The Book of Rites described the rituals of worshipping the Moon in ancient Chinese practice - The Autumn Equinox is one of the most important dates within the calendar year, emperors in ancient times would perform rituals and prepare offerings on this day to worship the moon goddess. Since the moon is the fullest and brightest on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, rituals and celebrations for autumn harvest gradually changed to this day instead, and is now known as the Mid-Autumn Festival.

It is our pleasure to have held an Autumn Ritual this year with our friends, to admire and worship the serene beauty of the moon with music and gratitude to her presence and guidance towards our inner self. We would like to thank those who joined us. We hope this experience brings peace and harmony and serves as a blessing for entering the darker half of the year.
