1. PICK YOUR MARKET
Stop trying to be “international” everywhere. Choose one city or market first.

2. BUILD FOR THAT MARKET
Your portfolio needs to reflect the type and level of work being booked there.

3. KNOW THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE JOBS
Producers. Photographers. Stylists. Hair artists. Agencies. Other MUAs.
International careers are built through people, not job boards.

4. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS BEFORE YOU NEED THEM
Don’t introduce yourself only when you want something.

5. GET IN THE ROOM
Assist. Test. Network. Travel strategically. Take the right opportunities.

6. TURN ONE JOB INTO FIVE
Getting your first international booking is not the goal.

As an artist, projects like this mean so much to me.

Working with different nationalities, cultures, skin types and skin tones and being able to adapt, understand each face and deliver your best work every time , is one of the most valuable parts of what we do.
Being invited back by @fashionrepublicmag to be part of the team again makes this experience even more special. I’m incredibly happy, proud and grateful for the trust.
A very special thank you to Ned and the entire team. The level of respect, kindness and understanding we received throughout the project meant more than I can say. As an artist, sometimes how you are treated while doing your job matters just as much as the job itself.

And once again, this experience brought so many wonderful people into my life. Thank you to every artist, model and member of the team I had the pleasure of working alongside.
