I was thinking about making a sentimental post with some process photos of the work that will be up at @txatxaclub but the photos on my broken phone proved too difficult to extract. Instead! Here are some screenshots from the @blockclubchi article about Txa Txa that kindly mention me *featuring* stickers I made from the growing photo library on my new phone. BONUS: A picture of me holding Too Much Beet Hummus I made. But genuinely, come by and say hi! I have pieces I made during undergrad, grad, and post grad in the space! You will get to experience some delicious/inventive bites as well as the kindness/warmth of Liz, Daniel, and the rest of the Txa Txa Team. <3 Thanks again to @midsizesedan and @_sugarm0mmy_ from @comfort_station <3 Reception tmr 3/10 6-9 by @izmeisters
IZZY CHO 💎 come hang with us on TUES 03/10 6–9pm for snacks and cocktails to celebrate the opening of @izmeisters show at the cafe. Izzy Cho is an interdisciplinary charm maker based in Chicago, IL. Cho’s work engages with symbolism, semiotics, and visual patterns derived from her Korean American identity, often within the context of superstition, to discuss transnationalism and celebration. Or first show of many, TXA TXA in collaboration with @comfort_station Artist to Watch initiative that highlights artists work deserves a deeper look. Opening Reception TXA TXA Club 3268 W Fullerton Ave Tuesday, March 10th 6–9pm See you there 🌹 by @izmeisters
🪐🌌Teo's Durumi in NYC🌌👾 @elaineucho gogogo!! Had the opportunity to see my sister thrive and see nyc (!!!). Ocean's Godori and Teo's Durumi are both available now on audio book and physical copy! Teo's Durumi paperback available in stores and hardback by request! by @izmeisters
Finished bookplate illustration for Teo's Durumi by my sister @elaineucho + process images. 🎉🏊‍♂️💥 Very honored to take a creative part in my sister's book journey! If you have a chance to catch my sister at one of her book tour events, you will be able to nab one of these stickers. Value will only exponentially accrue over time as my sister grows more famous. I wanted to balance the high octane sci fi action with the contemplative/sentimental roots of Ocean Yoon's home island of Jeju. TEO'S DURUMI IS AVAILABLE NOW! Paperback in stores and hardcover via request! by @izmeisters
HEY IT'S ALREADY HERE. Part 2. Part Finale. Part The End. But also you're welcome that I have such a talented sister!! Hehehehe This is the end of Ocean and Teo's story atm but please check out my sister on insta as she continues her writing career! I love you, 언니! See you on your tour at NYC! by @izmeisters
