I’ve wanted to make this for years, and in 3 days I finally brought my coffee table art book to life!

Seeing it printed for the first time and realizing the design came out exactly how I hoped was such an incredible feeling.

It’s 98 premium pages featuring 93 of my artworks across abstract painting and photography, and it finally gives a real sense of the full scope of my work as an artist.

I designed the entire book in 3 intense, energizing days and thought through every detail. I wanted it to be more than a comprehensive portfolio and premium coffee table book, so I also built it as a simple catalog for anyone interested in owning the work. Every piece has its own reference code, and the QR code at the end makes it easy to start an inquiry for prints or originals.

I gave this book my all, and I’m so proud to finally see so much of my work together in one real, physical, beautiful book. 🥹🖤✨

Song of the Toucan
This was the happiest painting in a series I painted early 2024 to process a heartbreak that, before painting, I just couldn’t seem to fully shake.

It was of course, the last painting in this series 😂
This 2024 series was the first time I VERY intentionally painted to process something specific. It is so interesting to see the stages with each painting.

For example, there is one that is VERY dark, the darkest painting I’ve ever painted. I’m not sure I will even show it on here 😅 but wow was it necessary for me to move through that.

For me, painting is absolutely a therapeutic tool for healing, processing the unseen. I wanted to clear what I couldn’t clear on my own just feeling and thinking. I wanted to get back to the Momentum I had before this heartbreak. Whatever was holding me down, it had to be painted out.

I got my Momentum, and my found myself singing again 🙏🏼🖤✨

Oh my goodness. She smiled SO big every time she looked at this piece. She said it was her favorite painting and she’ll hang it where she wakes up and looks at it. So much sincere admiration left me speechless. To create something that impacts someone so positively and becomes a special part of their everyday life, is the best feeling ♥️

Pieces of the process & main song I immersed myself in.
About the process:
I was expressing my experience processing something I was reflecting on at the time, putting it onto the canvas.
Near the end I found lightness.

Two marks on the top right are washed away, dissipating into the air. Those mark the softening of what had been from the past and I found myself looking back with a newfound perspective. The overall movement at the top is expansion, and blowing away of the past concept that was heavy. A tremendous release of what is not mine to hold.

I’ll never forget this experience. The power of creation to move you and heal you and do so much in the unseen realm, is a gift of life, & beyond.
