this was our first time trying @ques_pizzas and we were both super impressed by the quality and variety of food on the menu

charcuterie boards have just landed at vampire rabbit and they are a fab addition for a day of summer drinks and grazing 🍇🧀🫒

for £24, the board includes artisan cheese, cured meats, seasonal fruit, crackers and spreads

this is one of my favourite spots in newcastle for drinks and their menu is so fun and creative ✨

located at @yarmdrivingrange you’ll find par and patty who are serving up delicious smash burgers 🍔⛳️

the smell of the food as soon as walked in was unbelievable so we knew we were going to be in for a good meal!

🌿 truffle and parmesan fries
🍅 mozzarella sticks, with marinara sauce

on a wednesday and thursday, they run a smash and swing deal where they have the following deals:

50 balls and a burger for £15
100 balls and two burgers for £29

you can pre-order ahead for collection, which i’d definitely recommend to avoid missing out!

deep north have recently opened their 4th location on yarm high street and it is fab addition to the area!

we got to try some of the specials that they are running this month and they were delicious

they are selling out around 2pm every day, this is definitely one to visit if you are in the area ✨

located in the @lockupouseburn you’ll find slab shop and their detroit style pizza

with a rooftop area, great drink selection and delicious food, this is such a fab spot for the summer 🥂

can’t believe that pho has been open for nearly 18 months in newcastle and this was my first visit!

the food felt super light, packed with flavour and a healthy choice for eating out which is always a nice option to have ✨

kiln is serving delicious small plates with middle eastern spices in ouseburn and it is one of the best meals that i have had in a while

we got a mixture of dishes to share, which is definitely the best way to enjoy the menu:

baba ghanoush with olive oil and pine nuts
tahini cauliflower and black sesame seeds
padron peppers
halloumi in black sesame honey
joojeh chicken skewers
maple roasted carrots
mango amber potatoes

this is definitely a spot to add to your list for the perfect girls night or date night spot ✨

2 hour bottomless brunch is back at turtle bay 🐢🥂

for only £46pp, you can enjoy the two hour sitting, a menu of fab cocktail options as well as the choice of a brunch dish, two small plates or a main dish

our server gave us absolutely fab service, kept us topped up and we had a total of 9 rounds of drinks

as we were on the afternoon sitting, we went for:
🥩 steak and eggs
🐔 jerk chicken breast with garlic glaze

no.32 is the newest restaurant to open in sunderland and it is brought to you by the people behind @vitos.osteria and @ember_sheepfolds so you know it is going to be good

they have a range of small plates and pizzas on the menu and everything was honestly delicious

🍑 prosciutto, burrata and peach pizza

such a fab addition to the city and super excited to go back and try out more of the menu

super friendly staff and decor was absolutely stunning!

made the most of being in newcastle early and paid a visit to neighbourhood which has been on my list for a while ✨

we just grabbed a coffee and pastry as we were heading over for a graduation but it was honestly delicious 🍵🥐
