This fight in Paris 🇫🇷 was a special one for me 🥇.For the first time in my life, I competed without my father, without a coach, and without a single cue from the corner.Two days before the tournament, I created my own game plan… but on the mats, as always, everything changed 😅Good thing I had a plan B and a plan C.Every second was about focus, breath, and belief.I’m proud of my journey, not just the result.Merci, Paris 🇫🇷✨And big thanks to: The best gym I train at @david_gym_zh_west The best team that always supports me @sequenciabjjkids The best coach who taught me incredible technique @claudiosilva.bjj by @izzy_chelios

🥋 Jiu-Jitsu has taught me things that no school ever could.💭 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒎 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆.💥 𝑮𝒆𝒕 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒖𝒑 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒕.🔥 𝑲𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒏𝒐𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈.🇨🇭 It is an incredible honor to represent 𝑺𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒛𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 on the world stage. Every time I put on my gi and step onto the mats, I know I’m representing more than myself. I truly consider myself lucky to train with people who share the same mindset — respect for hard work, discipline, constant growth, and love for this sport. No matter how hard the path feels — it’s still shorter than the moment you decide to quit.Success doesn’t choose the perfect. It chooses the relentless. The ones who fall… and get back up. Again. And again.It doesn’t matter how many times you failed. It doesn’t matter how many mistakes you made when no one was watching. Does it hurt? Yes. Is it scary? Sometimes. But you keep going anyway.Because real growth — isn’t a beautiful ending. It’s broken attempts, exhaustion, doubt… and the choice to continue when it’s easier to stop.Show your journey. Don’t hide your struggles. Step into it. Through it. Sometimes life feels like it knocks the ground out from under your feet.You put in the work, you try, you believe and in return, there’s silence or something completely different from what you expected.And inside, a thought rises:“How is this even fair?”But maybe it’s not about fairness.There are things that don’t fit into our logic.Not because they don’t make sense,but because we just can’t see that sense yet.The ways of the Lord are mysterious.Sometimes the Almighty takes one thing awayto make room for something else.And most often, we understand it only when we look back.So if things feel hard and unclear right now this is not the end of the story.It means you’re going uphill.And that means you’re on the right path.This is part of the journey whose meaning will reveal itself later. by @izzy_chelios
