✝️ There was a man that was sent by God to live a sinless life and die a death we deserved and, in that moment, suffered the abandonment we deserve from God for our sins. All for us. But thank God that 3 days later, He rose again defeating sin and the grave! Now we can have relationship with our Heavenly Father! Today we can rest knowing that we have hope, purpose, and that nothing on this Earth can separate us from God!

It’s Pregnancy & Infancy loss awareness month (and day) and also 7 months without our sweet Anaiah. Here are some things we’ll never forget:

We’ll never forget the heart sinking feeling of leaving the hospital with a box of her belongings instead of a car seat.

We’ll never forget having to choose what plot of land she’ll rest in, and what decorations we’ll place at her grave.

We’ll never forget signing her birth certificate and shortly after filling out a death certificate.

We’ll never forget the many people who have stood by us, held us, prayed, cried, and mourned with us as we’ve walked through this journey.

We share these devastating realities because they’re real, and we want to encourage you, if you know someone who has experienced infant loss, miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, etc. please keep showing up for them. Don’t be awkward. It’ll mean a lot to them.

🎉🎉🎉 It’s National Sadé Day!!! Happy Birthday to my most favoritest person on the face of God’s green earth!!! Man, 26 was something but 27 will be the year God turns it all around. To watch you navigate such a challenging chapter with such grace has filled me with amazement! We know it’s God’s grace. It’s such an honor to be your husband. Summer camp season at CFStudents has come to a close and MAN!!! Was it full of faith, family, and fun!!! I love what I get to do 🥹🙌🏾🎉 God is preparing the hearts of the next generation and we get a close-up view of that.

This Father’s Day, I get to share something that’s helped me through a lot of pain: Letters To My Daughter. As I process through the loss of our babygirl, I’ve looked for ways to express what I’ve felt: the excitement, the anticipation, the hope, the anguish, the peace - you know, the easy feelings. I put these songs together and I hope that each one ministers to you the way they’ve ministered to me 🙏🏾

I never could’ve imagined that after I held my babygirl for the first time, I’d never get to see her again. Losing our firstborn child was not in our plans but throughout this process of grief, we’ve found so much peace in the God’s presence. I think I’m starting to understand what “peace that exceeds anything we can understand” really means. Since the day I knew she was conceived (actually, even before then) there hasn’t been a day that I haven’t thought about being Anaiah’s father ❤️ Though this weekend is hard, I am grateful to celebrate the greatest privilege I’ve ever known: being a father. I find comfort in knowing that our baby girl is exactly where we long to be - in the presence of her Heavenly Father. We’ll see you there, babygirl!

🎉2025: Man, God has been so good to my family and I. I’m thankful for the community we have, the amazing opportunities I’ve been given, the team I’m a part of, the musical ideas He’s given me, the people I’ve gotten to serve, and literally EVERYTHING else.
