"Take Souls of Your Competitors"

If you're a man with a massive ego, this concept from David Goggins is pure gold.

Here's what Goggins means by "Taking Souls":

It's that moment when your competitor realizes they can't match your intensity. When they see the work you're putting in and think, "There's no way I can keep up with that."

That's when you've taken their soul.

Not through trash talk. Not through politics. Through pure, relentless work ethic that breaks their spirit.

I understood this concept at a young age, and it changed everything:

If you want to reach the highest echelons in your field, it won't come easy.

In fact, it'll be harder than you think. It'll take longer than you think. And you'll have to make more sacrifices than you think.

But here's the beautiful part – most people aren't willing to pay that price.

So while they're looking for shortcuts, you become unstoppable through sheer volume and intensity.

Your competitor posts once a day? Take their soul. Post twice.

They send 20 outreach messages? Send 30.

They work 8 hours? Work 12.

They take weekends off? You work on weekends.

They complain about being tired? You're already three hours into your day.

This isn't about being better skilled (though that helps).

This is about being willing to do what they won't do. by @izzy_miles_

The "HOW" becomes easy when your "WHY" is big.

We've heard that a million times, right?

Let me tell you when it actually hits different.

It's 11:47pm. I'm on my third rewrite of a sales page for a 7-figure coach.

My eyes are burning and my brain feels like mush.

I catch myself thinking: "I could just send this version. It's good enough."

But then I remember WHY I'm doing this.

I'm not just writing copy. I'm building something that'll let me work from anywhere, support my family without stress, and never ask permission for anything again.

Suddenly, that fourth rewrite doesn't feel so hard.

The same thing happens when I'm running that final mile under the scorching sun.
The tank is completely empty.
Legs are shaking.
Running out of breath.

That's when I channel Eddie Hall.

The guy who deadlifted 500kg and literally passed out from the effort.

Before attempting it, he’d a horror story in his head because a scientist told him it is “Humanly Impossible” to lift 500 Kgs.

He'd imagine his kids & wife have gotten into an accident. They’re under the car, and the only way he could save them was by lifting the car.

He’d imagine that the Barbell he was going to carry–500 Kgs– is not the barbell…

But a car under which his kids and wife are fighting for life.

Creating this grueling scenario helped him pull off that record, and he became one of the strongest men in the world.

I do the same on that last mile.

I picture myself at 65, weak and regretful, wishing I'd pushed harder when I was young.

I picture my competitors celebrating their wins while I make excuses about being "too tired."

Suddenly, that last mile becomes non-negotiable.

Your WHY isn't supposed to be pretty. It's supposed to be so visceral that quitting becomes more painful than continuing.

Most people have weak WHYs like "I want to be successful." Those aren't WHYs. Those are wishes.

Mine?
I refuse to be average.
I refuse to let my family down.
I refuse to give my competition any advantage.

That's why the HOW becomes automatic.

When your WHY is strong enough, you don't negotiate with yourself anymore.

You just execute. by @izzy_miles_

Are you betraying your clients?

Strong words, but I'm dead serious.

Last Tuesday at 12 am, I saw a post in a Facebook group.

A multiple 6-figure coach asking: "What's a good Youtube ad formula?"

Then someone else asked: "Anyone, mind telling me how to write a sales page?"

These coaches are incredible at what they do. They transform lives. Get real results for real clients.

But they're spending hours at midnight trying to become marketers.

I get it though.

One of my potential clients spent three weeks writing his own sales page.

When I asked why he did that, he said: "I thought I needed to learn it myself."

Even after spending 3 weeks, he couldn’t finish it.

Now he is in talks with me.

Here's what I've noticed with the 7 & 8-figure coaches I've written copy for:

They don't try to master everything.

They hire specialists for anything outside their zone of genius.

They understand….

Their clients hired them because they’re a master at coaching, not because they can write copy or build funnels.

Every hour you spend googling "how to write a VSL" is an hour you're not working ON your business.

And while you're trying to learn everything, your competitors are hiring specialists and scaling faster.

Do what you’re good at.

Find people who’re better than you where you’re not good at.

Because if you’re working IN your business instead of working ON your business…

You’re falling short of delivering the results you could have delivered to your clients.

Isn’t this a BETRAYAL? by @izzy_miles_

What I Wish I Knew When I Started…

When I first started copywriting, I thought success meant learning all the tactics.

The perfect headline formula.

The best email structure.

The right way to write a call to action.

I spent months studying frameworks and strategies.

Here's what I learned after years of doing this:

“None of that matters if you don't understand the market.”

The best copy comes from deeply knowing your audience.

How they talk. What keeps them up at night. What they've already tried that didn't work.

That knowledge doesn't come from watching youtube videos. It comes from paying attention.

Now when I write for health coaches, I spend more time listening than writing.

I read client testimonials.

I join Facebook groups where their audience hangs out.

I pay attention to the questions people ask.

Then when I sit down to write, I'm not inventing anything.

I'm organizing what I already learned into a sequence that helps people take action. by @izzy_miles_

I know I'm going to win.

Not being cocky. Just stating facts.

These days I'm grinding harder than everyone around me.

Writing copy at 5am.

Studying psychology at midnight.

Practicing toughest copy - funnel copy - while others scroll TikTok.

And when I look at my competition, I can see the gap closing.

Not just closing, I'm about to lap them.

You know what gives me that confidence?

MAMBA MENTALITY!

Kobe wasn't the most naturally gifted player in the league.

But while everyone else did two-a-days, he trained three times a day.

He did 4am gym sessions.

He did skill work after practice and film study until 2am.

He KNEW he was going to catch up, then surpass and then dominate.

That's exactly how I think about marketing.

While other marketers post motivational quotes, I'm studying why one hook gets 100K views and another gets 500.

While they complain about algorithms, I'm adapting and testing new formats.

While they wait for inspiration, I write 10 pieces of copy before breakfast.

Success isn't about being better today. It's about being inevitable tomorrow.

And if you're reading this as a business owner who grinds harder than everyone around you, who levels up while others make excuses…

You already know what I'm talking about.

It's just a matter of time before you beat them in revenue, influence, and authority.

Not because you're lucky.

Because you're doing the work they won't do.

The early mornings. The late nights. The unglamorous grind that separates pros from pretenders.

Success isn't a surprise. It's a compound interest on obsession.

The scoreboard doesn't lie.

Keep going. by @izzy_miles_

Normally I run under 30-35°C.

But last Tuesday afternoon in Lahore, it hit 42°C. One of the hottest days of the summer.

And I had to go for my casual everyday run anyway.

No salt pills. No water bottle. Just me and the heat.

(I like torturing myself physically and mentally to increase my pain threshold.)

By mile 4, I'm drenched in sweat.

My heart is pounding like a Bugatti engine and my lungs feel like I'm stranded in the Sahara.

I want to quit. I want to slow down.

But I don't allow myself to walk during runs…

EVER!

The dehydration is crushing me.

The temptation to stop is creeping in like crazy.

But I'm only halfway through.

So I do something with my mind—something that changed everything.

I create a scenario in my mind:

I'm racing against other fathers at my son's school and only the winner and his son leave with pride. Everyone else gets booed and embarrassed.

I tell myself:

"If you quit now, your son will be humiliated in front of the entire school."

My mind enters Goggins Mode.

I keep running, bent at 45 degrees because my lungs are aching and my stomach feels like it's tearing apart.

Half a mile from the finish, I'm running on pure faith, praying: "God, it's not me running anymore. It's You making me run."

Complete autopilot.

I cross the finish line feeling like I just conquered Badwater 135.

That day taught me something I’ll never forget…

“We massively underestimate ourselves. We have no idea what we can achieve when we refuse to give up and push through pain with Allah's help.”

That run made me discover a version of myself I didn't know existed.

It revealed a strength I didn’t know I had.

It built a confidence I never imagined I could possess.

If you want unshakeable confidence, do the hard shit. The shit no one else is willing to do. by @izzy_miles_
