What a special final project to wrap up my time in Leeds. Damned If I Do means a lot to me, and I'm so thankful to have been given the opportunity to tell this story! I can't wait to share it with you all!

I had the most amazing time at the Storytelling Summit today, hosted by @bbbookfestival in partnership with @paramountpics !! It was so insightful, and it's really opened my eyes about the industry, and uplifting underrepresented backgrounds and storytellers. Thank you for having me! 🎬 by @izzyandrews

🎓 Bachelor of Arts Honours in Acting For Screen 🎓
what, like it's hard?
--
I've never been academic. Never. Anyone who's ever known me will tell you I've never been academic. So to sit here now and say I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree? It's a pretty damn good feeling.
Thank you to everyone throughout my life who encouraged me to take the creative route. The world will always welcome more doctors, lawyers, politicians and scientists, but now more than ever, we need artists, performers, singers, writers, musicians and poets. The world needs human soul again, so I hope I can put a little of that back out into the world.

Thank you @metfilmschool for pumping out opportunity and encouragement, and thank you @uwlalumni for partnering with us and allowed me and my peers to cross the stage ❤️ by @izzyandrews

What a truly special day this has been. Today, I publicly declared God as my Lord and Saviour (truly my saviour, in every way) and have been baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I am overjoyed! Thank you to my @stmattsleeds family for making this day so special. As a church, you have helped guide me, support me, uplift me, and today (after many months of waiting), you have baptised me.

St Matts is my forever home, no matter where in the world i am. Thank you for all the cards and gifts. I cannot wait to see where my journey with God takes me.

God, you have stood by me in the face of chronic illness, disease, burglary, heartbreak, horror and beyond, but also through joy, success, celebration, love and peace. This is why I declared you as King today. May your Spirit continue to fill and refresh me as I walk through this next chapter and beyond. May you bless the people of St Matts, Burley, Leeds, and beyond, that they may know your love, patience and heart. In your name I pray, Amen. 🩷 by @izzyandrews

I felt so powerful marching with @luuvfitness and @leedsuniunion tonight to advocate women's rights, the protection of sex workers in Leeds, and aiding in the prevention of gender based violence.

1 in 5 women will be faced with sexual violence, and 1 in 7 men. It's societies problem that affects everyone. I try to make it my mission to advocate for and support women, men and gender non conforming folk who have experienced, or are vulnerable to, sexual violence.

Definitely not every day you find yourself on IMDB (i did not put myself there, just to clarify 😂) being actively recognised for a performance, and a makeup department credit is such an exciting thing for me. Though probably small for some, this has really boosted my confidence in this career. I'm so grateful to have been put on here 🙏 by @izzyandrews
