Hi, I’m Izzy! An author from Western Australia and I have published 2 out of 5 of my NA urban romance fantasy books so far with book 3 coming end of 2026🩵💙💜 swipe alone to get to know a bit more about me !!!

🌃 Mystic City is for fans of Crescent City by Sarah J Maas, the immersive world building of The Sandman (Netflix series) meets Naruto (9 tailed fox spirit) is quite spicy and is very heavy in depth world building with unique elements!

🩸 I’m currently working on a monster hunting urban fantasy low spice, first person narrative coming 2027 ⚔️ for fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Cassie Palmer chronicles (monster of the week vibes) and Shadowhunters!

Hi my name is izzy and I wrote a story about ….☺️
A young girl who is forced to fight in a world where she is the minority...who has to work harder than everyone else to get the bare minimum...

I originally wrote this story during one of the toughest times of my life. I struggled mentally and emotionally and was working 12 hour days, sometimes more...

Leila came to me when I was fighting my own battles, her story came to life in my mind as this fierce, brave human girl who struggled to adapt in a world that made her feel small. Her voice resonated with my own and together we became fearless and strong.

I initially had no idea how to self publish let alone knew it was possible. But despite my hardships and lack of knowledge, I made amazing friends along the way to help me shape my story...

I wanted to write a story that was more than just about magic. I wanted to write about grief, what its like to lose someone you’d thought you’d have in your life forever, what it felt like to be so in love, it became part of you...I wanted to write about strong female friendships, sisterhood, mental health and everything I was dealing with, the good, the bad, the ugly....
And so I did 📖

Thank you to all who have guided me, supported and cheered me on since the beginning and new faces too! You’re all amazing and I’ll keep doing this as long as I can 🪽🌃🧜‍♀️🏴‍☠️

Off to a chaotic start 😂 and by 10k I mean I didn’t write THAT much in one sitting I’ve now totalled 10k words from two previous sittings which sparked the idea to document the process! That, and @k.s.elliottauthor writing vlogs for her upcoming book ‘Ultan Academy’ got me so obsessed!
