after two years of dating i think this is the first time i have ever seen braidyn read a book….

but to get sappy real quick. i am so happy to be here at this point, able to say that me and braidyn have been together for two whole years now, if anyone on this instagram account knows me, they know that it was a long journey to even start dating the man.

i have been dancing for what i think is 15 years, im sure my mom will correct that number for me. so therefore, for 15 years of my life i have had a home when i need it, a shoulder to cry on, a release when things felt too heavy to carry, friends, overall i have a family. from jackson’s speeches that will always make us all cry, to brandi’s modern warm up that i somehow know like the back of my hand, i have always known that i have a place to go if i need it. but since last night, i had to start actually taking the steps to leave dancing plus. to grow up. to graduate. to leave my family behind. i will always and forever love dancing and love the endless memories i made doing it. it’s so so so cliche BUT cherish every single moment you have doing the things you love. i want to also publicly thank (a few other people but first) my mom and dad, for funding one of the places that takes up most of my time, but also for sitting through every long competition, recital, and thursday night dance classes. i love you guys. my sister eliza, who probably cried more than i did this weekend, you are my inspiration and my will to keep dancing, i love you so so so so much, follow your heart my love. my dance teachers, this one i might not be able to completely put into words, i overall just love you guys. thank you for constantly putting up with my crap. thank you to everyone who even decided to show up to my recital, my parents, my grandparents, aunt, and last but not least braidyn allen. i love you guys. my final thank you, the elites. you all have shown me friendship as well as incredible grace and love. you are my best friends, the people i admire most, i’m pretty sure i’m jealous of all of you. i love you guys so much and i can’t wait to watch what we all become.
