QUINTESSENCE 2022 💫

Another year, another @qutapsofficial showcase. Here are just a couple of memories from the three months of training and rehearsals leading up to the night.

Thank you to all the mentors who taught me: @anukid for GOT7 If You Do, @lz.1501 and @celinekong_ for IZ*ONE La Vie En Rose, and @lanigibbins for Pristin Wee Woo.

There’s a tagging limit on instagram so I can’t tag everyone in all of these pictures and videos but know I love and appreciate everyone 💗 by @izzylamprey

✨ QUINTESSENCE ✨

Very late to the post but thank you for @qutapsofficial for letting me host their first ever dance showcase.
Thank you everyone in our Fromis_9 piece for working hard to create an incredible performance.
And thank you to @anukid for directing the showcase and creating a new platform for dancers in the Brisbane scene to perform. Can’t wait for another year spent at QUTAPS~ by @izzylamprey

You think you can hurt me? I was president of a university club during a global pandemic.

2020 has been hard, for a multitude of reasons, but I’m still proud of all the work we did this year for @qutapsofficial. Uni wouldn’t have been nearly as great nor eventful had they not been around. I still remember my very first O-Week rushing up to the tent at KG and literally yelling for them to “shut up and take my money” as I bought membership.

I’m gonna miss a lot of things about being on the team. Hosting events, creating all the trivia nights, inducting everyone to my girl group supremacist agenda (which I still technically can do without being an exec). The one thing I WON’T miss however is setting up this stupid banner!! The amount of times I’ve been physically assaulted by this banner either cutting my hand or even fully collapsing onto me,,, no words, only pain.

All the best wishes for the 2021 Executive Team to keep elevating the club and maintaining its position as the number one spot to talk about all things Asian Pop @ QUT (Andy Trieu please don’t sue)! by @izzylamprey
