“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

I am so blessed to announce my commitment to Tennessee Tech University to continue my academic and athletic career, and to fulfill little Izzy’s dream of playing Division 1 collegiate softball. First and foremost, I want to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him, this journey would have never been possible and I am so grateful for the opportunities He has blessed me with. I want to give a huge thank you to my wonderful parents. They have sacrificed so much so that my dreams could come true. All the plane rides, the countless hours spent in airports, the camps, rental cars, hotel rooms, and so much more. They never left my side, even through my struggles and my ups and downs. I want to thank Coach Dana, Coach Ebony, and Coach Ejan. You guys are so special to me. Thank you for the hours upon hours you spent advocating for me and for supporting me through everything. I would also like to give a special thank you to Coach Monte, Coach Johnny, Coach Robbie, and Coach Patrick. You not only made me a better player, but you made me a better person. Thank you for the time we spent together. A very very big thank you to the Vardy’s, Kim and Mark, Coach Matt, Coach Justin, and Coach Lacinda. You guys are truly my second family. I would not be here today without any of you. Thank you for every pitching lesson, every sports performance and crossfit class, and most importantly, for believing in me when I did not believe in myself. I am forever grateful. I would also like to thank Christina McLamb, my very first pitching coach. My journey started with you, and I am so thankful for your support through the years. Thank you to Coach Penner, Coach Kendrick, and Coach Miller for giving me this opportunity to play at the next level. I am so honored to play for you all. Lastly, thank you to all my friends and family for following me and my journey throughout the years. It has been one long ride, but truly the most rewarding. With all that being said,
