Don’t go to war with steel. Might be best take the miss and move on before the rest of the stage falls apart! 🤦‍♂️ 🙃 (and yes, I spelled “common” wrong. I is smart). by @j.9mil

Awesome squad today at the Lincoln USPSA match!Struggled a bit for the first couple stages but found my stride once I got my “YAAAY JOSH” from @aspence59 .

13/65 overall and 4/26 in Carry Optics.

This was my first match with the steel frame S&W M&P, and it’s dialed with the 147 grain match ammo my pops and I developed with the dudes at work.

I rejoined the S&W M&P gang after having fun with the Walther and Staccato, and it’s nice to be back!

The focus of this match was confirmation, following a stage plan (even if not the most efficient), and maintaining more control. The first five stages felt very good, and the last two started to slide. Overall, today felt like progress and we’ll see how the final score standings shake out tomorrow.

The 147 grain match ammo by @geoffsmiller and @egglestonmunitions was on-point for all six of us that ran it today. Thanks, pops!

Practical/Performance shooting is the way for LEO and civilians alike. Our community is growing.

There were 132 participants for the SOAP match at Sacramento Valley Shooting Center. I finished 36th overall, and 12/51 in Limited Optics division. See you all at the @definitely_not_instructors match next weekend. taken in Sacramento Valley Shooting Center by @j.9mil

Erin let me be with the boiiiis this Valentine’s Day morning to shoot a USPSA match at CAPSL. Overall, I’m pleased to see improvement in several areas thanks to some of the guys tagged below. I ranked 3/20 in Limited Optics, and 21/71 overall.

Despite that, I completely 💩 the bed and spaced my entire stage plan on the last stage (mag drop for the cherry on top) 🙃😅

Same stage, different ways to do it.

We recently had a 2-day recert class for a large group of range instructors comprised of officers and sergeants. Our focus was to introduce and reaffirm fundamentals found in practical / performance based shooting. We set up this stage for them, and the course critiques spoke for themselves . . . this is the way! by @j.9mil

It was a pretty cold morning today in Lincoln for the monthly USPSA match. I tried my hand in Limited Optics with the Staccato HD 4.5 and a holster I definitely should have done more dry work with. All in all, not a bad match and placed 4/19 in Limited Optics and 13/56 overall.

147 grain reloads were dialed in thanks to my pops and coworkers.

Every time I show up to these matches, I have to check my ego and allow myself to be taught. Check out the following dudes pushing LE to do better: @xrifledx @definitely_not_instructors @redhats_slowgats @practicalshootingforcops

There are more of you, but I’ll leave the spamming to a minimum. taken in Lincoln, California by @j.9mil

The new work schedule has made finding free Saturdays tough to come by. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things when CAPSL rolls around later this month.

Saturday with the boys and with a great squad! It’s awesome to have coworkers that will put in time and effort like this to change our culture, and in turn, facilitate practical & performance shooting into LE training. Steve @poore_man burned it down today, Kurt @nopdelta came as an unclassified shooter with a M Class run on the classifier, and Tyson @tysonshumway had one of his best matches I’ve seen him shoot yet. Looking forward to the next one. by @j.9mil

Another Lincoln USPSA match in the books running this @waltherarms PDP SF 5” Match for the second time. Simple mistakes definitely added up today, but I was still happy to finish 27/60 overall and 6/16 in Limited Optics. The work homies came out with some impressive runs, with @poore_man pulling a Carry Optics Division top score. Papa Miller joined us as well to make sure our ammo was running smoothly (thanks for effort you put in for these rounds, Dad). taken in Lincoln, California by @j.9mil
