I’ve been saying it for years, @spiteofficial has some of the wildest stage presence out there. I’ve been following these dudes since the very beginning and they continue to tear it up. I’m super proud of how far they’ve come and look forward to whatever comes next.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted some of my drawings. I need to get back on it. These are both from August of 2020. Usually done with a mechanical pencil, this time around a No. 2

Flamingo — for my nieces sixth birthday.

Mechanical pencil, .5mm and .7mm, two different darknesses/hardnesses. Took one month and a handful of days to complete.

This one was really hard for me to finish. I got extremely sick the last two weeks of the drawing and went days without eating, lost motivation, physical strength, a good amount of weight and couldn’t even stand to look down while drawing because of the intense headaches. Regardless, I powered through and finally finished it (in an airport). Happy birthday Oakley, enjoy!

Bear:

In case I ever forget what you look like. I love you, baby boy.

30+ hours, done over the course of almost two months with mechanical pencil.

So here’s the deal:

I started this about two months ago. Turns out, I’m not as good at depth as I thought, so I’m having a hard time finishing this. The rabbit is hard as shit, along with the viper. The guy on the stairs I never got around to.

The original drawing was the stairs, cactus, owl and honeycomb, but I added too much and now I hate it 🤷🏻‍♂️ by @j.a.why
