This past week has been filled with overwhelming emotion as I reflect on everything it took to get here. I am truly beyond proud of myself. There were so many moments when I felt like giving up, but God had other plans. When I felt tired, discouraged, or unsure, He gave me the strength to keep going . This journey was not easy. It was filled with long days, EARLY mornings and late nights creating lesson plans, studying, praying, and trusting God when I couldn’t see the outcome. Every challenge stretched me, taught me, and prepared me for what’s ahead. Through it all, God placed the right people around me and reminded me that this calling was bigger than me. If you know me you know I am not a morning person AT ALL but I can say every single early morning was worth it to be where I am now.
From PPB to Pre-Internship, Internship I, and Internship II, student teaching at Langston Chapel Elementary School shaped me both professionally and personally. Being a first-generation college graduate, this moment is not just mine but it represents perseverance, faith, and breaking barriers.
I truly believe God walked with me every step of the way and faithfully brought me to the finish line. By His grace, I have passed my GACE exam first try and am now certified to teach,and a graduate of Georgia Southern University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.🍎
All glory to God. This is only the beginning. 🎓

I had the wonderful opportunity to capture my older sister’s incredible graduation moment. She is becoming an outstanding leader, a true pillar of her community, and a proud graduate of Georgia Southern University as she continues her journey toward becoming an educator.
