End of summer dump.

A summer filled with boats every other weekend, multiple trips, slow moments, full hearts, the privilege of watching our daughter grow, nurturing friendships, being great parents, and unconditional love.

Until next summer ❤️❤️❤️ by @j.amarie

I think it finally hit me. Seven days ago, I became the woman I had always known I would be. Sacrifice is inevitable for the life you want. As I reflect and close this chapter, I want to focus on all the things life has gifted me in the meantime:

* I found community and incredible lifelong friendships.
* I have loved and been loved unconditionally.
* I traveled the world.
* I have healed deep childhood trauma.
* I have held a career with an organization that has supported me in all of my endeavors.
* I bought a house and made it a home.

Oh, and I had a full ride to one of the top MSW programs in the Country.

As women, we are often told that we can’t do both. God, I am grateful to have had and done it all.

Signing off ✌🏽
