This week, my dad, Sulaiman, celebrated his 80th birthday. Spending time with him recently reminded me just how blessed I am to call him not only my father, but also one of my best friends. As he continues battling an advanced form of bladder cancer, his faith, strength, and fight continue to inspire everyone around him.

Before I left, he told me I’ve lived up to the meaning of my name, dependable, and that he appreciates how I show up for our family. I reminded him that God’s not done with him yet because the world still needs to hear his voice, and that the lesser is blessed by the greater. I am truly fortunate to have him as my ‘greater.’

Please keep my Dad in your prayers as we celebrate his life, his legacy, and his continued fight. by @j.b.watt

Had a great time with the North Central Province Council in Brookfield, Wisconsin. It was especially meaningful reconnecting with a couple of the young men I’ve had the privilege to mentor over the years.

Had an unforgettable time at The Masters Tournament in Augusta. Phones aren’t allowed on the course, which honestly adds to the experience, but we managed to capture a few moments near the iconic 16th hole. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the course… immaculate. A tradition unlike any other. Good to see @caddyracks, @olliemccoy4, @timothy_james_g and Patrick M.
