@homobloc , you've been crazy, beautiful, scary, liberating, intimidating, exhausting and absolutely legendary. Performing and managing a stage throughout the night has been a dream. Thank you @beezoup for trusting me! See you next year!

✨ OUR WHY ✨

As we count down to Mon The Troupes, Scotland, we're asking everyone involved one simple question...

Why Burlesque? Why Mon the Troupes?

Next up is our incredible host, the internationally award-winning John Celestus – the first male burlesque performer from Greece.

Why Burlesque?

"It is a liberating celebration of body and creativity that fights stereotypes and breaks boundaries."

Why Mon the Troupes?

"Because it is a much needed platform for the talented troupes of the UK to shine. It's a rare opportunity that doesn't exist elsewhere in the country."

And that's exactly why Mon the Troupes was created.

Over the coming weeks, we'll continue sharing the "why" from the amazing people who are making this show possible.

Join us on 25th July at Dobbie Hall as we celebrate troupe burlesque, champion our incredible community, and raise funds for Ezra's Mission to End Duchenne. ❤️

Some people perform.
Some people command attention without trying.
That’s the difference.
