Real love is a great and terrifying risk with an equally great and terrifying reward. So be awkward. Be clumsy. Be embarrassed. Mess up! Take a risk, It’ll be okay.

MENE MENE TEKEL PARSIN (READ)⬇️

King Belshazzar saw where those who went before him messed up and failed to learn from their mistakes. Because of this God sent the hand that writes on the wall MENE MENE TEKEL PARSIN.

““Here is what these words mean: Mene : God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end. Tekel : You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. Peres : Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.””
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭5‬:‭26‬-‭28‬ ‭

Belshazzar never humbled himself, spurned accountability, and in doing so knowingly assassinated his character. Because he made provisions for the flesh he lost EVERYTHING. His influence, his kingdom, and HIS SOUL. Protect your Integrity!

I understand the irony of this post but there really in no replacement for time spent in the presence of God. There are no shortcuts. But our generation loves the easy way.

We are CHRONIC QUITTERS and SHORTCUTTERS
We quit games when they get too hard.
We avoid difficult conversations.
We’d rather start over than see something through

If there’s too many words we won’t even read the screen. How many of you just skipped all that above? See my point.

Everything around us helps us to avoid things we don’t like. And in that avoidance we avoid all difficulties and thus growth. So get in the word even if it’s difficult. I promise you won’t regret it!
