On this Holy Week leading up to Easter, I can’t help but sing these words over and over:

Charlotte Faye Kelm… we can’t believe you are 8!!! 🎉🎉 You are pure joy, sweetness, and sass. You literally light up every room you walk (or skip) into. The best friend, kind-hearted sister and beautiful (inside and out) daughter! You have blessed this family each and every day of your life and we couldn’t be more thankful God gave us you!! 💗

We have loved celebrating multiple times this month (because she deserves it!!) But the highlight was getting to spend time with all of her “best friends” from all different circles. Special shout out to the sweetest older girls who came to love on Char and who are the best examples for her to look up to. 🥹

✨ And just like that, we’re starting another school year!! ✨ 5th, 2nd and our baby heading to kindergarten. My heart is feeling all the emotions today. It seems like just yesterday I was holding them in my arms, and now we’re packing backpacks, tying shoes, and sending them off into the world. I’m so incredibly proud of each of them though! Trying to slow time down and cherish every stage, every milestone, and every “first” along the way. Here’s to a new year full of learning, growing, friendships, laughter, and memories. Keep running after Jesus and go shine your lights for Him. And don’t forget, you’ll always be my babies, no matter how big you get. ✏️📚🎒 by @j.kelm

“Little Voice” has been more than just a dance for me — it has been a journey of finding my own voice, learning to express myself, and growing with every step. 💛

@kathleen.mcph, thank you for always believing in me. You have a way of encouraging me like no one else can. I am grateful for this beautiful dance you created! It reminded me that my voice matters, both on and off the stage. I’m so grateful for everything you’ve taught me!

I’m thankful for my home studio @rootsacademy_dance and all my mentors for their constant love and support!

Thank you to @hollywoodvibe for an amazing week at nationals. It was my first time, but definitely not my last! Can’t wait to be back next season. ✨

Charlotte performed “Lollipop” for the very last time this week at @hollywoodinvitational 🍭💕 This sweet and sassy dance has brought so much joy, confidence, and growth in Char and it has been so fun watching her shine on stage all season! I am most proud of how hard she has worked every day to meet her goals and I couldn’t be prouder. 🥹

We are so thankful for our studio @rootsacademy_dance and especially Char’s amazing mentor @erin_smith192. Your encouragement, support and belief in Charlotte every step of the way has meant the world to us. She loves you and respects you so much!

We had the best experience at our first @hollywoodvibe nationals this week! We’re so proud of Char for earning the highest adjudication, placing 3rd in Jazz and 5th overall.

We’re grateful for the love, memories, and lessons that will stay with Charlotte forever. It was the most perfect first solo and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. 💖✨🌈

✨ Today is such a special day because our amazing, rainbow baby is turning 10 years old! ✨ Double digits looks beautiful on you, and your kindness, laughter, and bright smile brings happiness to everyone around you. Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that our little Daniel is a pre-k graduate. He is so sweet, kind, funny and smart! His teachers adore him and he is a friend to all.
