Introducing my new artist alias — J.ONES

Taking it back to my roots.

After years of playing under the alias J-House, a name originally chosen from advice given to me early in my journey, I started to realise it no longer fully aligned with who I am as an artist or the direction I want to take my sound.

I’ve always been drawn to blurring the lines between genres rather than being placed in a box. For me, music has never been about fitting into one category it’s about creating unique dancefloor journeys, moments of connection, energy and emotion through sound.

After a lot of reflection, I decided it was time to reconnect with myself creatively and move forward under a name that feels more authentic to who I am and where this journey is heading.

This feels like the beginning of a new chapter and I’m excited to share it all with you.

NIGHT SERVICE 26’ 🌗  Some highlights from the final 12HRS from 9AM-9PM

Thank you to the artists, staff, volunteers and everyone that came through during the early hours through to close and streamed from home.

Our fundraising total was an amazing $9,000 for @leukaemia_foundation @dylanalcottfoundation @empowerautismqld

Raffles to be drawn tomorrow with some amazing prizes 🎫 by @j.ones_music

NIGHT SERVICE 26’ is now live. A 24HR event connecting the SE QLD electronic music scene to raise funds for three great causes.

Presented by @nightservice__ @pawnandco_brisbane & @vogelmusicau

Night service is a live music event to raise funds for the @leukaemia_foundation @dylanalcottfoundation & @empowerautismqld

@vogelmusicau will be playing for a total of 24 hrs from July 10 - 11 alongside some of SE QLD’s best DJs/Artists hosted @pawnandco_brisbane

Tickets available via Megatix with additional donations available through every ticket purchase - links available through bio with all proceeds to be split evenly with the three charities.

Raffles will also be running on the day with prizes to be announced soon from some amazing sponsors 🔋

Another one for the books Electric Groove Vol.4 done and dusted.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came down and danced with us under the disco ball yesterday 🪩

The vibes, the energy, and the love on the dancefloor were something special and once again reminded us exactly why we created Electric Groove in the first place.

Watching this little community continue to grow means the world to us. We can’t thank you all enough for showing up, bringing the energy, and making every edition better than the last 🤍

Safe to say… we had way too much fun, so it looks like we’ll have to start planning the next one 👀
