This is who is behind J Thomas Designs. The girl who drilled, sanded, bolted, wired, cut, framed, dug, painted and sweated right alongside her dad and brother from the time she could walk. The girl who took all that knowledge, got a degree, and for 24 years has built a design business that specializes in custom new construction, additions, historic renovations and home furnishings.

Introducing “Rustic Refuge” — a dream home three years in the making, thoughtfully built from the ground up in beautiful Pine Mountain, GA. Designed with aging in place in mind, this custom home blends timeless style with everyday function — and we couldn’t be more proud of the result.
