Claire Wee @j0eyg1rl is an Adelaide-based illustrator whose signature watercolours brighten up our feed every Peacetober. She is the illustrator of ‘Ten Guinea Pigs’ (written by @toni.dalia_author) and ‘Little Rabbit and the Moon’ (written by @inda_binda) and her absolute love for cute, furry creatures go well beyond the page - bunnies, cats and dogs are a huge part of her life!

Just like her characters, her art highlights courage and kindness in the gentlest ways, and we are so happy to see Claire’s furry friends back in action this year!

#peacetober2026 is hosted by @coffeesforgaza as a way to collectively express our solidarity with families through art of all mediums ❤️ by @j0eyg1rl
