See I've always dreamed about an island, palm trees, blue water and some barbecue on the beach, unbothered.
So, I lived. Pleased people, made friends. Danced to some music I didn't like, watched some movies that wasn't moving me. I listened to discussions that don't really go nowhere and took part to it. Wasted time.
Mine, what's mine, never left me. I've always fell on mine, once or twice, no shame. I fell and it held me, mine.
So, I lived. Breaking bonds, losing friends. I started dancing to what I like, read some books that move me. Now I enjoy conversations that take me on a journey, and mostly I'm part of it. The best of my time.
Mine, what's mine, never left me.
See, now I'm an Island, with palm trees, blue water and sunny days. Sometimes the storm hits and it's dark but I'm always assured that I'm the prettiest and peaceful island out here, and the sun will shine in the morning and the beach will still be clean, the water too. Unbothered.
Mine, what's mine, never left me. I've always fell on mine, once or twice, no shame. I fell and it held me, mine.
