I know I can be naive. I give too many chances. I see the good in people even when they don’t show it.

But if you saw life through my eyes… you’d understand why.

I’ve been around death since I was 10, helping my dad at a funeral home. I’ve seen how people leave this world. I’ve seen the pain families carry, the regrets, the “I wish I would’ve loved harder” moments.

That kind of life changes you.

It made me soft. It made me love deeper. It made me treat people even strangers with kindness, because I know how short life really is.

So yes, I love hard.
Yes, I give my all.
Yes, I believe in people maybe more than I should.

Because one day… none of this will matter except how we loved each other.

But I’m learning something too
Having a pure heart doesn’t mean letting people hurt me.
Loving deeply doesn’t mean accepting less than I give.

I’ll never stop loving with everything in me…
I’ll just start choosing better who deserves it. by @j32nny
