Huge congrats!

Congrats to @agent_redbeard on earning his black belt in Gracie Jiujitsu and his black belt in Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu

He is only the third person to receive a black belt in Jugoshin Ryu Jujutsu

He is only the 4th person to receive a black belt from me in Gracie Jiujitsu.

It won’t be easy but I promise it will be worth it.

Real shooters LIFT each other up, not tear ‘em down!

Complimenting someone isn’t hard. Nice split! Amazing draw! That’s spicy! Takes two seconds. We already have too many haters in the industry. It seems like little clicks have been formed. If you’re not in the click, you basically don’t exist. Let’s do better as a community. You see a dude appendix draw so clean and effortless in a .5 with an alpha hit? DON’T BE SALTY because you can’t do it. Say…… DAMN, YOU’RE ON ANOTHER LEVEL!

Giving credit? You study his grip, his stance, his draw stroke etc…. Give credit to that individual. Don’t act like you didn’t steal their stuff and pretend it’s yours. I promise it doesn’t make you look weak. In fact, it makes you look like an honorable person.

Who’s the shooter you owe words to…?

AIWB Draw — Tested, Timed, and Refined.

I’ve been working on my AIWB draw since 2014. Over the years, I’ve experimented with different draw paths, recorded myself on video, and used a timer to evaluate my performance. Through repetition and analysis, I’ve identified the approach that works best for me—delivering the most efficient, consistent, and fastest draw I can achieve.

No guessing. No assumptions. Just testing, analyzing, and refining what works. by @j3_tactical

M&P Monday:

Why I Prefer the M&P 2.0 Over the ZEV OZ9

After spending time with both platforms, I prefer the M&P 2.0 for a few simple reasons.

The M&P 2.0 shoots smoother and is easier to shoot, especially during rapid strings. Adding an Apex trigger makes it even better—it’s, in my opinion, the best striker-fired trigger available.

The M&P is also extremely reliable, which is one of the biggest factors for me. The grip geometry makes it easy to establish a strong, consistent master grip, and the additional weight gives it a very stable feel compared to many other striker-fired pistols.

The ZEV OZ9 is a good platform, but for me, the M&P 2.0 simply checks more boxes: smooth shooting, excellent ergonomics, reliability, weight, and a great trigger.

At the end of the day, I just shoot the M&P 2.0 better—and that’s what matters most to me.
