Our next competitor is 67 years young! She started OCR in 2022 (since a couple of surgeries kept her out for the 2021 season) after she had joined Ultifit in 2020, where she discovered obstacle course training. She's thankful for coaches Brian & Tori and the wonderful, amazing & empowering gym buddies she's met along the way.

She has had 3 shoulder surgeries, twisted/busted ankles, and all the other things life has thrown her way, but none has stopped her from living an extremely active life.

She's done Savage Races, Rugged Maniacs, Frontline, and Highlander Assault. She can smash through most of the obstacles that she encounters! She may fail some, but she'll surprise herself on others. She always finishes, and you'll always see a smile on her face.

Representing Team UltiFit, we're excited to welcome @j9sis to the party!

A few of me conquering the "Confidence Builder." (not for the faint of heart!) A long way UP, over, and down!!
Must say, it was a great view!🤭😮🤗

A pic of me on the "Kraken"...... yeah...that one did get the best of me eventually

And....at the finish just before chugging that bottle of water!!

How is it I'm smiling in all of my pics?? What was I thinking?🤦🏻‍♀️😁 Probably less effort than crying!!😮🤭

A few pics of my friend Kim conquering "Confidence Builder" with me!!

So. Much. Fun!! Not gonna lie........it was a tough, demanding, and humbling course!!

Wow!! My OCR buddy (Kim, 63) and me (67) have our 1st OCR of the season in the books. Not bad for a couple of boomer babes!! 🤣😂

Thank you to @Frontlineocr for a tough and humbling and beautiful course! Definitely the most difficult we've done (ah, the beautiful and intense course) We finished!!, tried every obstacle, completed most, and surprised ourselves with others!! And we were told by some competitors they want to grow up and be like us!!🤣😂

Everyone was wonderful....the competitors were fun and engaging!!

Ok....OCR buddy, Highlander Assault June 8 (morning & evening OCR), Savage Race OCR in July, and Midwest OCR in Sept!!! Here we come!! (WOW, did we miss Aug🤦🏻‍♀️)

Thank you to our wonderful coaches, Brian & Tori @ultifit Naperville for doing their best to guide, encourage, push, and challenge me in preparation for these races!!
A shout out to my awesome trainer Godwin from @ofbtraining for pushing, challenging, and encouraging me with my weight training! 💪 Definitely helps!!

Long weekend trip with hubby to visit his family in St Louis area not far from our sister @Ultifit gym!! Unfortunately didn't have time to stop by this trip!
Took a walk in nearby park and of course had to find something to climb on !! (Oh, and it's ok....I know what I'm doing...I'm a retired electrical engineer)
Sometimes you just have to make do with what you got!!
