My first Mother’s Day and first without my girl. A year ago tomorrow will mark 11 months without you and one year ago since Tim and I delivered flowers to you in bed and told you your grandson would be named after you. I knew that would be my last Mother’s Day with you, so I wanted it to be extra special.

If anything this past year has taught me is that I’m incredibly blessed despite the emotional journey it’s been navigating all of this without you. I am so blessed to have experienced a love like yours and everyday I realize more and more the magnitude of your love and the prayers you covered me in. I’m also blessed I get to share that with my son. Thank you… thank you for everything. Happy heavenly Mother’s Day, mommy.
