What day do you wish to relive?………. This one! So much life was lived up to this point, but more faith was built. So blessed to have you in my life. Living answered prayers and……..She made me cry🥹

There are no words to describe the profound pain you feel when you lose your dog. I’m grateful Maximus was by my side for 12 years. It still doesn’t feel long enough. I’ll love you forever, Max. The best boy & protector. See you in heaven.

when we took this photo, we were celebrating our marriage while preparing for brain surgery. two weeks after a successful craniotomy to remove the tumor, we learned the meningioma came back malignant. it’s grade lll anaplastic; rare and aggressive. around 1% of people in the U.S. are living with this type of tumor. while the meningioma has been removed, there is a high risk the cells spread or will return.

the radiologist said the seizure in february which led us to the tumor saved my life. through the victories & the tears, we believe God orchestrated every single moment over the past two months. we will forever be grateful.

daily radiation will start soon for six weeks. we’re shocked & scared yet hopeful. we have the best team surrounding us at northwestern, along with our family, friends and faith. all worth celebrating. 🩶 taken in Malnati Brain Tumor Institute at Northwestern by @j_holt
