We are still so overwhelmed with joy from our wedding day. Simone and I are so thankful to have been surrounded by our village on one of the most special days of our lives. God has truly blessed our union and we made it to this day because of Him 🙌🏾 No one can really prepare you for this day and all the emotions you experience. Every emotion imaginable was felt leading up to the 151st Kentucky Oaks & Derby — what an unforgettable week! 🐎🌹

I’m just a kid from Louisville, Kentucky who dreams of one day being the veterinarian for the Kentucky Derby winning horse 🐎👨🏾‍⚕️

This summer has blown my mind - God is so good 🙏🏾🥺 He’s truly opening doors and allowing me to walk in my purpose right in front of my own eyes 😭😭

This racetrack externship hits deeper - This is HOME! This is something I have ALWAYS wanted to do. Having the opportunity to work on the backside of Churchill Downs and learn veterinary medicine on the racehorse was such a blessing 🤲🏾🙏🏾

I loved EVERYTHING about the track & this experience!! I learned so much from teams of veterinarians, trainers, jockeys, grooms, hot walkers, families, etc. all striving to protect the equine athlete. Long hours and determination all to Run for the Roses 🌹

This one is for all the Black Horsemen and women who paved the way for me 🤎🙏🏾 I’m almost there🤞🏾 by @j_mitch12
