Achieving this degree is a dream come true. It represents so much more than words can convey.

Lincoln College revealed the athlete within me, showing me my potential in sports:

- 1 year in Men’s Volleyball
- 2 years in Men’s Track and Field
- 2-time Most Field Event Points (Men’s)
- 2-time School Record Holder in Men’s Weight Throw and Hammer Throw
- Top 4 Marks in All Throwing Events
- 2-time NJCAA National Qualifier, placing Top 10 in indoor and outdoor nationals

Unfortunately, a single injury changed everything. It made me question my identity…Who was I without sports? Did my coach care? How would I afford school?

To future college athletes: remember that sports are temporary. Your education should always come first, with athletics second. Stay on top of your studies, communicate with your advisor, and keep your faith strong.

Tennessee State University, thank you for showing me that I am more than just an athlete. Attending TSU was one of the most challenging experiences of my life, but my journey unfolded and the proof is in the pudding.

- 1st Generation College Graduate
- Founder of Young Men’s Academy (est. 2023)
- Harbor Group Management Internship (Property Management/Real Estate)
- Chartwell Hospitality Internship (Corporate Internship)
- Lead Resident Assistant (2022-2024)
- Fall ‘22 Initiate Brother of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Incorporated (Charismatic Chi Psi Chapter)
- Secured a full-time job after graduation

I’m grateful for the lessons I’ve learned and excited for the future ahead. Thank you for the endless support from the community to my family.
