It’s never goodbye but instead see you later. Military PCS never gets easier but the moments we get to spend with the ones closest to us are always so special and enjoyed memories.

Savannah Addison Richards, my Savvy Addy, I am so proud of you for accomplishing your goals of graduating high school. This road was not easy nor was it laid out perfectly straight for you. You had to face twists, turns, set backs, restarts, and much more. You never quit, you never wavered, you never faltered. You always gathered yourself, took some time to catch your breath, reassess your situation and formulate a new game plan to attack your goals and go after your ambitions.

You have grown into an amazingly beautiful young woman and have the absolute brightest future ahead of you, starting with Texas Tech. The road before you will be similar to the one you just finished traversing. You will face uncertainties, you will face anxiety, you will face plenty of doubt and nay sayers. Just continue to smile at them, gather yourself and let them watch from the backseat as you plow forward into further and further success.

Always know you are fully capable and there’s nothing the world could ever give you to make you more capable or deserving of a woman. You can take what you wish from the world but never expect the world to give you a dime… go out and earn it and be proud of all you have accomplished and all you are going to accomplish.

Im always here to be your biggest cheerleader and love you unconditionally no matter where in the world you are or where in the world the winds have blown me. Love you to the moon and stars and back. So so so proud of you!

With Teacher Appreciation Week coming to a close, I want to take a moment and recognize my favorite Teacher.

Brittany Richards, watching you teach and guide the children that walk through your classroom doors is such a joy. It doesn’t matter who the kid is, what the circumstances are, or how you are feeling that day, you meet every child exactly where they need to be met and make them feel at ease and in pure comfort.

You ever see someone do a job and immediately you can tell that is what they were called to do. Yea thats teaching for Brittany. The world needs more teachers like you. Matter of fact if the world was filled with teachers like you, our world would be a much better place filled with children who know how to communicate, love, have fun, and build relationships and friendships with anyone and everyone.

Proud of you babe and I hope this week you felt appreciated because you absolutely deserve all of the appreciation. by @j_rich45
