in 1999, my mom let us skip school & took us to the yankees ticker-tape parade. it was electric. and made me so proud to say i was from the bronx. so it was only right i brought her out to watch the @nyknicks & celebrate them as new york’s new champions! 💙🧡these lil moments lead to big ny state of mind energy. somos un par de nuyorkinas 4eva.

pic #9 deserves its own caption:

happy world earth day 🌎

ayni (in Quechua, the indigenous language of the Andes) means sacred reciprocity. ayni represents our way of interconnected living with 🌬️Pachamama. ayni is a reminder that earth and all its inhabitants 🦙are not infinite. we must consciously act, honor, protect and most importantly, give back to nature, much more than we take 🌱
