GPAL Part 1

What a wonderful time in Argentina at Gran Premio America Latina de Ballet! 🇦🇷❤️ @gpal.ballet

You can truly feel how much Cristina Sanchez and her team care about the Latin American dance community and the dancers within it. They create a space where people can come together, connect, support one another, and celebrate the love for dance. That sense of community was truly special to experience. 🙏🏻❤️

The invited guests were such a beautiful group of human beings, and together with the incredible GPAL team and the wonderful dance community in attendance, it made for a truly special, fun, and memorable week. ✨🙏🏻❤️

It was a real pleasure and an honor to represent Dario Elia @dario.elia.nba and the Dutch National Ballet Academy there. @denationaleballetacademie I’m very grateful to have been part of such a beautiful experience and to share this special week with so many inspiring people. 🙏🏻❤️

Looking forward to arriving in Argentina for Gran Premio América Latina, where I’ll be representing Dario Elia and the Dutch National Ballet Academy.

It will be my first time in Argentina, and I’m looking forward to experiencing the energy of the country and the beautiful dance community gathered from all over South America. I had a beautiful time teaching at the Swedish National Ballet School. I found it so inspiring to collaborate with a team of people who believe in curating a healthy space for the human experience within ballet education. The support throughout the team working at the school is huge. You can see how this is felt in the students for they - each of them - have the space to explore their truth, their process, and discover their movement potential in such a joyful way. 🙏🏻🌈😃🎉

Thank you Sebastian Michanek for inviting me to share Yoga Narada® and the Harkness Ballet Method as taught by David Howard with your students. What a gift it was to be a guest in a school lead by such vision, care and heart. Thank you Sebastian, administration, teachers, musicians and students for welcoming me to your gorgeous community. I leave my two weeks with you with a very full and happy heart. 🙏🏻🌈❤️🥰✨✨✨✨

We had a beautiful and very inspiring Yoga Narada® Teachers Training Workshop and Retreat. It felt so good to reconnect with the teachers and others I’ve known over the years and wonderful to meet the new members joining our Narada Community as well. And it was the feeling of community at the heart of this workshop experience that really lifted my heart. For within each person there they brought such heart, openness and consciousness to the shared space.

It’s not lost on me what a privilege it is to co-teach with Mum and to be able to have the space and time to go deeper into the work while surrounded by such light filled beings - many of whom have a rich history with the work. Thank you both to Mum and to those who came for your trust in me.

The work continues for me, as does the deepening awareness and renewed energy that emerge from it. At the heart of this is the meaningful experience that we shared together in Den Haag. 🙏🏻🌈💓🌸🌞✨

We are so looking forward to our Yoga Narada® Teachers Training Workshop and Retreat! I’m very grateful to be able to co-teach this workshop with Mum. It will be so wonderful to be reunited with the Narada Teachers in attendance and to meet the wonderful people joining the Narada community.

This method has provided support over many years for students and professional dancers at the Paris Opera Ballet, American Ballet Theatre School, and Dutch National Ballet Academie, Scapino Ballet among others. We will also discuss the integration of Narada in dance class and relate how it supports the dancers experience whether their interests be in ballet, contemporary, etc.

Yoga Narada® which seeks to embrace and support people from all walks of life. Yoga is a coming together of body, mind and spirit. Yoga Narada® was developed by Hilary Cartwright (Former Artistic reDirector of NDT 2, among other companies - see bio for link to her website) and provides a way to achieve flexibility in the body, while maintaining coordination, passing smoothly from one shape to another.
