Reír es antiinflamatorio. Llorar regula. Abrazar nos protege. Cantar tonifica el nervio vago. Bailar es neurogénico. La alegría es una necesidad biológica.

In Time to Be, Leonel and Pedro dream of escaping to live their love freely, while their wives imagine a future shaped by motherhood. I designed the camera angles to reflect these contrasting desires: the two men facing each other, their gazes crossing, while their wives lean on one another. Silence and atmosphere reveal what remains unspoken.

In Don’t Be Afraid of Sundays, wide and medium shots gradually give way to close-ups, capturing the characters’ reactions to an unconventional proposal involving an exchange. The natural sounds of a park on an ordinary Sunday afternoon create an intimate contrast with the unusual conversation.

Finally, in On the Road, a desolate beach at sunset frames the farewell of friends who will never meet again. The landscape, fading light, and distant horizon become part of their goodbye, suggesting separation, memory, and an uncertain future.
