Thank you to my brotha @bmooralive and my sister @yogawithcarli__ for hosting and facilitating a beautiful weekend in Idyllwild 🙏🏽💙 As I reflect i’m grateful for where I am, even as I’m still becoming. I’m learning to be more present, embrace joy without guilt, and give myself grace through it all. I’m realizing more and more that rest is not weakness it’s our birthright. I don’t have to break myself to prove I’m worthy. Still learning, still growing, still healing, still showing up for myself, my people, and my community. Slow Burn drops Tomorrow 💫
@j_soulstice and I have graciously worked and lived this song. Yes, I said lived.

To me, Slow burn means to have patience with yourself in the times when it’s hardest. It’s easy to have patience with yourself when things are going right. But what about when the world feels heavy and you feel like you can’t catch a break? Those are the moments that need to burn slow. At the end of the day, it all works out in your favor. So remember to give yourself grace in those moments and take your time with yourself like you’d want someone to do with you🕯️

Dear Big Island,

Thank you for your beauty, your land, and the peace you give so freely. Thank you for reminding me that this place is more than paradise. It is history, culture, spirit, and home, deserving of deep respect and truth.
Thank you to the people who carry so much love, warmth, and aloha in the way they welcome and care. And thank you for holding my mom and brother, for giving them a place to call home.

Still processing what it means to complete my 200 hour yoga teacher training ✨

This experience was so much more than learning how to teach. This experience showed me a mirror. I faced my shadows in ways I never have before and learned to embody more balance, vulnerability, and truth in my life. My inner child is proud of me, and I’m proud of him too. Grateful for the beautiful friends I made, the amazing teachers who guided me, and the version of myself I’m continuing to become. Here’s to the next chapter.
