There’s something powerful about choosing stillness.
No filters. No hustle. Just me, sitting with my thoughts, soaking in the sunlight, and reflecting on this season I’m in.

Lately, my eldest has been so challenging.
Big emotions, constant pushback and if I’m being honest, it’s had me questioning my parenting more times than I’d like to admit.
It’s heavy. It’s exhausting. And it’s cracked me open in ways I didn’t expect.

But sitting here in stillness on Tuesday up Mt Ninderry I reminded myself:
I’m doing my best.
I’m showing up, even when it’s hard.
And that matters.

The more I connect with me, the more I can hold space for them.
The more I back myself, the more grounded I feel in my choices even when they don’t always “work”.

To the mum who’s feeling disconnected, doubting herself, or just tired know you’re not alone.
This is your reminder to slow down, breathe, and reconnect.
You’re doing better than you think. 💛

I didn’t realise how much confidence I had lost since becoming a mum. Somewhere between the nappies, routines, and trying to be everything for everyone, I forgot who I was. I became scared of being judged, for wanting more, for even thinking about doing something for me.

But I knew deep down that I needed something. Not just to help financially, but something that would reignite my passion and remind me of my worth.

That’s when I found this incredible business model. I joined for the income, but what I didn’t expect was the transformation i have had along the way 🙌

Little by little, I started showing up for myself. I started believing in my voice again. I stopped worrying so much about what others thought and started focusing on what I thought. On what mattered to me and my family.

Now? My confidence has grown beyond what I ever thought possible. I’m earning, I’m growing, and I’m finally proud of the woman and mum, I’m becoming.

If you’re someone who’s lacking confidence right now, let’s connect.
You don’t have to do it alone, and sometimes all it takes is one brave conversation to start finding yourself again 🫶

Finding my running groove again 🏃‍♀️

Today I swapped my Tuesday functional training session at the gym for a 7km run.

And I'll be honest, it was hard to skip the gym because it's my absolute HAPPY place.

But with HYROX on the horizon, I've set myself a goal of adding two runs a week to build my endurance and improve my running.

I used to love running, and I'm really enjoying finding that love again.

Today I got up, met up with my dear friend @leelewis811 who had a great interval session planned for us (just a few uphill sprints) 😬

I'm not the fastest, and it's not always easy, but it's about showing up, challenging myself and enjoying the process.

A little reminder to other mums: make time for yourself, try something new and keep chasing those goals.

Remember you don't have to be perfect, just keep showing up 💪

This is one of the things I love most about motocross 🥹❤️

Watching the kids come off the track and stop to fist pump, cheer each other on and tell each other “good job” just melts my heart.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not always about who came first. It’s about getting out there, giving it your all, having fun and being proud of yourself for giving it a go.

Eli is a good little rider, and I know the results and podiums will come with time. But right now, we’re not chasing them. We’re bringing the FUN back for our little fella and yesterday, seeing how much he loved his first race on his RFN made me so proud. His times kept improving throughout the day, he was finding his feet and getting more confident with every race, and seeing that little smile made it all worth it.

I just want to teach my kids to be humble, to celebrate their own efforts, and to cheer for others along the way. To be happy for someone else’s win, just as they’d want others to be happy for theirs.

Those little fist pumps at the end of a race might seem like such a small thing, but to me, they’re everything ❤️

This is the kind of sport I want my kids growing up in. 🏁🤘 by @j_thomson88

This motocross journey has taken us through so many ups and downs. There have been challenges, opinions, tears and moments where the excitement and love for riding just didn’t feel the same anymore.

So sometimes, you just need a change. Sometimes, you need to take a different path and be able to bring the spark back.

Yes, Eli loves motocross. He loves riding. But more than anything, we just wanted to see that excitement in his eyes again… and this video says it all 🥺

I have honestly never seen him cry like this over something before. The pure shock, excitement and happiness when he realised his new RFN was his absolutely melted us. 🥹

This was exactly what we needed to see. A fresh start. A new spark. And a reminder that sometimes change is exactly what we all need.

No matter what anyone thinks or says, this is about you, buddy. Seeing you smile like this is everything.

We’ve got you, Eli. Keep doing what you love, keep chasing that excitement, and most importantly, have fun. 🏁🏍️

Sometimes the biggest thing you can do is just bring the spark back ✨ by @j_thomson88

Eli’s first ever school camp 🥹❤️

Never have I seen this boy so excited and ready to go — up and dressed by 6:30am 😂

He has been counting down the days and was absolutely buzzing to head off on his first school camp.

As a mum, I’ve definitely had mixed emotions watching him head off....But I know he is going to have the most incredible time with his mates , getting creative, building rafts, taking on outdoor adventures and making memories he’ll talk about for years.

So proud of you, my boy ❤️

Go have the BEST time!!!

Who else has childhood memories of their first school camp???

My baby is now S E V E N 🥺 💗

It honestly feels like yesterday you were curled up on my chest for the very first time, and now here you are, growing into the most beautiful little girl.

You are kind, caring, fiercely independent, and so incredibly headstrong. You know exactly what you want, and you go after it with confidence. You're a natural leader, never afraid to stand tall, and I hope you always keep that spark.

For your 7th birthday, all you wanted was a fairy party at home with your little girl pals. 🧚✨ It was simple, magical, and so perfectly you. Seeing the biggest smile on your face, surrounded by your heautiful friends, made my heart so full.

You'll always be my little queen, no matter how big you get. Watching you grow has been the greatest privilege of my life, and I couldn't be prouder of the sweet, funny, loving girl you're becoming.

Happy 7th birthday, my darling. We love you more than words could ever say. ❤️ by @j_thomson88

This motocross journey with Eli has been one of the toughest things we've watched as parents.

He absolutely loves riding. He loves race days, loves being at the track, and never wants to quit.

But right now, we're battling a huge confidence block with this little dude....🥺

We are seeing progress... it's just really small. Some days it feels like we take a step forward, then two steps back. As parents, it's soo bloody hard because you know they're capable of more, we see it...But confidence isn't something you can force.

I know this all too well because I've struggled with confidence myself. There were so many things I was scared to do, and I doubted myself constantly.

Over time, by continuing to show up, those things that once felt impossible slowly became normal.

Confidence wasn't something I woke up with it was something I built, one step at a time.

Maybe that's exactly what Eli is doing now,??

There have definitely been moments where we've wondered if we're doing the right thing by continuing.

If your child was struggling like this, would you keep going???

For us, the answer is YESSS!!
Not because we expect him to be the fastest or win races, but because he still loves the sport.

We'd much rather see him smiling on a bike than walk away from something he enjoys because his confidence is holding him back.

I'd love to hear from other motocross parents. Has your child ever gone through a stage like this??

How long did it last, and what helped them get through it?

We believe his confidence will come. Until then, we'll keep supporting him, encouraging him, and reminding him that every lap is another step forward 🤗 by @j_thomson88

Here with my morning coffee, feeling really grateful today....

Life is funny sometimes. You can feel so close to your goals, yet so far away at the same time.

There are definitely a few extra stresses happening behind the scenes right now, but I've made a choice not to let them steal my joy.

I truly believe everything happens for a reason, and that the challenges we're facing today are helping shape the life we're creating tomorrow.

So many people ask me when I'm going back to work.

The truth is, becoming a mum changed everything for me.

I spent 12 years as a dental nurse and absolutely loved it. I loved the people, loved helping patients, and loved the work. But when I became a mum, my priorities shifted. My heart wanted something different. I wanted more time, more choices & more flexibility to be present for my kids.

These days, Josh and I are building something bigger than ourselves. Between our flooring business and my online business, we're working towards some pretty incredible goals. Some days it feels like we're climbing a mountain, and other days it feels like we're standing right at the finish line.

Either way, we're moving forward.

We're believing in ourselves, backing our dreams, and creating a life that aligns with our values.

September is going to be a big month for our family, and I can't wait to share more when the time is right.

For now, I'm just grateful. Grateful for where we've been, grateful for where we are, and excited for what's still to come. I'm also incredibly grateful for the beautiful people in our corner. The friends, family, and like-minded people we've met along the way who understand the journey, support us, believe in us, and cheer us on through the highs and lows.

None of us do this alone, and having an amazing circle around us makes the journey that much more special.
