POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We’ve been hinting at this for a while, and we’re finally ready to show you!

Passenger Live Sessions premieres Wednesday, October 21 at 7 PM Eastern, hosted by @zoe_lask

Every Wednesday, our live-streamed show kicks off with an hour of music and videos from artists playing around Detroit in the week ahead — a look at what’s happening locally over the next seven days.

Then, each episode continues with a live recording session, performance and conversation with a featured artist.

And we couldn’t be happier to have @john_krautner — John Krautner as our very first guest.

Watch live at passengerradio.com.

Join me, Stephen Palmer for episode 23 of Pictures of a City for the best in prog and prog-adjacent™ tracks on Friday, October 16th! I'll be playing tracks by Yes (...no way!), Bowie (...it's been a minute!) , VDGG (...wow, really, you dont say?!) Camel (!!!), Mike Oldfield (no, not ommadawn, the more famous one!) and more! ...but not much more because the tracks are very long! www.passengerradio.com taken in Hamtramck, Michigan by @j_whck

Thanks everyone for coming out last night for the very first Passenger Radio live event at @passengerrecovery! Thank you to Brian Liar @blairbrian, @phasedouut and @mrktband for putting on an AMAZING show! Thanks to @gothabillieman for making everything sound so damn good!

Last night was very special to me. It proved that the people in our city will come out to a recovery community center for an all-ages, substance-free show. That's the universal power of music. The sense of community last night was overwhelming because that is who WE ARE: a community of people who love and create art. Don’t ever forget this.

We need to support our community by showing up. So go see our local bands live. Buy their records, CDs and cassettes at your local record store. Listen to them on Passenger Radio WHCK.

You have a truly alternative streaming radio station right here in your backyard. Passenger Radio WHCK plays new releases, underground classics and hidden gems 24/7 at passengerradio.com. There’s a link in the bio.

Last night showed us there’s a place for this. Thank you for showing up and helping us build it. We’re just getting started.
