Amazing trip to Lisbon for my best buds wedding. Castles and Tiles and Cobblestone roads and super nice friendly people. 10/10 would go again. by @j_zilla_
Just dropped a special release of the song "Love" from my latest album. This release features a brand new "Breezin' Remix" and brand new Artwork that helps capture the essence of the tune. Also, check out the Instrumentals and even listen in #dolbyatmos . No Ai,AutoTune, or Quantizing was used in the creation of this music. Artwork @magic_triplets Guitar @mattygmusic Flutes: MattMaley Keyboards, Bass, Drums: Jamey Z Lyrics @studiowozzie and @serena4ta by @j_zilla_
Time to start remixing some tracks from my last project #40ozbounce .. I am starting the Remix series with the song "LOVE" featuring @studiowozzie and @serenamichelefortier which I think is the best song we have ever done together. LOVE is a love song written to our baby boys, so perfect for mother's day party. The original is a slower groove, so I decided to speed it up a few notches and flip the George Benson song Breezin' to it. Guitar by @mattygmusic and flutes by Maley. Give it a listen! by @j_zilla_
Hade a great weekend up in Santa Barbara with the family. Even had a chance to cook up a few jointz on my #RolandP6. I still want to get that new MPC Sample, but the RolandP6 can cook for sure. by @j_zilla_
April was a good time! May starting off nice already. by @j_zilla_
"Summer" Featuring @chiefdvb and Jamey Z . Just a couple audio engineering hip hop nerds who love to make music . This is my first song with Chiefy but hopefully more to come in the future. This tune also features Downtown Dawson, JungleGod, and a synth solo from MIKE DEAN. If you dig live instrumental hip hop with dope rhymes check it out! by @j_zilla_
"Living" by Jamey Z and Cidida aka @studiowozzie off the new project 40oz Bounce. Cidida "Brent" and I have been making songs together since 2008 when we meet back in NYC. I would say we tried our best to "Live it Up" everyday and even nowadays as family men we are living our best life out in Los Angeles. This tune also features our good friends from NYC Boogie Breeze and GC. by @j_zilla_
"Relate" featuring @downtown_dawson with music by Jamey Z. Dawson and I are hardcore hip hop heads who spent the last 20 years in the underground hip hop scene so it can be hard to relate to certain aspects of the music game. This is a tune we did to speak on it and share our thoughts. Take a listen if you are down with live band hip hop beats and rugged rhymes. "Relate" by Jamey Z and Downtown Dawson, some hardcore hip hop heads just trying to relate. by @j_zilla_
"Mission" featuring @downtown_dawson produced by Jamey Z. Dawson and I are getting older but still out here making music and doing what we love. This track is all about hustling and keeping up the grind to make music and share it with the world. Check out the full album "40oz Bounce" that we worked really hard over 2 years to bring to life. by @j_zilla_
Follow me around for a "Day In The Life" -NAMM EDITION- while I check out some cool gear and provide a few #nammhacks that I have learned over the years of working this convention. Luckily I don't have to work this year so can just come and have fun. 1. Pack a cooler with food/coffee and maybe brewskis. 2. Park a few blocks away for FREE! 3. Bring Wheels and save your feet., Bikes, boards, blades will get you around this huge complex much faster. 4. Fun hiding places so you don't have to lug around your cooler. 5. Check out all the fun gear. 6. See all your old friends. This is really the best part. 7. Check all the amazing Music. 8. Go for a few days and rock all the after parties by @j_zilla_
Cidida, Cidida, Cidida, went crazy on this track! I have been cooking up with Brent aka Cidida aka @studiowozzie for 18 years now, so I was glad we could knock out a couple tracks on my new project #40ozbounce. Nowadays we are tech nerds and dads to some crazy toddler boys, so it's hard to find time to keep making tracks, but we plan to cook up some more soon. Luckily we both moved out to Los Angeles from NYC so we can keep the movement rocking. Brent is too wicked with the pen and his freestyle game is insane.. give it a listen if you love live band hip hop with some funky jazz influence. by @j_zilla_
It's Friday! Let's pop a bottle. Have a fun and "safe" weekend! Also, please play my new song with @downtown_dawson off our latest project 40oz Bounce. BTW, if you are 40 try not to keep up with these crazy 25 year olds. by @j_zilla_
