Meet J’Alice Westery, Master of Marketing ’26. J’Alice brought entrepreneurial energy to every corner of the program. She interned with the Center for Entrepreneurship and at Radical Dreamer, applying her skills to mission-aligned work. She also served as a board representative for the Owen Christian Business Association. Outside Owen, she's been just as active. J’Alice sits on the Board of Directors for the Fly Girl Institute and serves as CEO of From A Black Girl's View, where she translates strategy into voice and visibility. The line that reshaped how she works came from an Owen professor: "Fall in love with the problem, not the solution." As J'Alice puts it: "It changed how I approach everything, whether it's marketing, business, or building my agency. It reminds me to focus on what people actually need instead of getting attached to my own ideas."Her proudest contribution to Owen? Advocating for stronger marketing student representation in leadership positions. You can catch her at Noir, ordering anything with a good lamb chop or pasta.Keep thriving, J'Alice! ✨ by @ja_lice
