This is the Mbu puffer that made me fall in love with the species. 🥹

I still remember discovering Mbu puffers for the first time and being completely fascinated by them. There was just something about these fish that made me want to learn everything I could about them.

Little did I know that one day I’d have my own Mbu puffer, Jabba, and that this species would become such a huge part of my life. ❤️

Sometimes all it takes is one fish to spark a passion that never goes away. 🐡

Did you have a fish that made you fall in love with the hobby? Let me know below! 👇

The SECOND Jabba realizes it’s food time… 👀🐡

Those eyes get BIG real quick! 💀 He goes from chillin’ to FULLY LOCKED IN the moment he knows dinner is coming. 🦐

Does your pet do this when they know they’re about to get fed? 👇

Got myself a new @starwars mug… and I think Jabba has some thoughts about it. ☕️🐡

What do you think is going through his head right now? Is he offended, jealous, or wondering why there’s another Jabba in the house? 💀

Let me know your best caption for this look in the comments! 👇

I found these cockles at an Asian market and knew I had to see what Jabba would do with them. 🐡🦪

This was his first time trying them… and I wasn’t sure if he’d be able to crack through the shells!

A few pictures of Jabba from today’s shrimp dinner 🐡🦐📸

He was definitely ready for his meal!

I also filmed the whole feeding and answered a question I get pretty often about why I leave the shell on the shrimp. 👀

Video coming soon! 🐡

Switching things up for Jabba today! 🐡🦀

I decided to skip the usual fish store and see what I could find at a local Asian market instead. 👀

I found some crunchy favorites for him… plus something he’s never tried before.

What do you think Jabba is going to think of his new food? 🐡👇
