25 Years.

Our beloved grandmother Eileen Abrams worked at the World Trade Center. On 9/11/2001, she stopped for coffee and pastries on her way to work. This saved her life as the towers were hit around that time and this gave her just enough time to realize what was happening and escape. By the grace of God and her tremendous bravery, she made it out alive and lived for another happy and healthy 24 years, until last November, when she passed to the heavens and became our guardian angel for all time. We are forever indebted to all the police officers, paramedics, firefighters, first responders and bus drivers who helped save countless of innocent lives on this day.

Pray for the families of the victims who perished on one of the darkest days in American history.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET! 🇺🇸 by @jabrams__

3 years ago, I took delivery of my 1992 Donzi 18 Classic 2+3 from a collector in Michigan. I never grew up boating much, but always loved it. The 18 couldn’t be a better first boat. Easy to learn, maintain, a whole lot of fun, and oozing with nostalgic Aronow style.

First video and few pics are from delivery day, and the remainder are some favorite memories over the years. This isn’t one I think I’ll be letting go of, it’s just too damn fun.

5 years ago today, I brought home a distressed lionhead holland lop mix while in college. Had more on my plate than I could’ve imagined. Both supply chain management and mechanical engineering courses and co-ops already kept me very busy, not to mention involvement in student life and clubs. I already had James, my turtle, for about 7 months at this point, and knew both she and I could use another rescued animal companion.

I found a bunny needing rehoming in Revere that was an absolute fluff ball and unfortunately appeared to be kept outdoors. While I was at Lime Rock Park for a Pagani gathering, (Anyone who knows me knows how much I love performance cars) I got confirmation I could pick up the bunny that day. I immediately got back in my car to head east to pick her up, and soon after named her Snuggles.

It’s such a gift to give Snuggles the best life that I can. I’m further grateful that she continues to bring a sense of familiarity and consistency, through very different times in my life. Snuggles turns 6 in July, the years are flying. I really love this one, happy adoption day ❤️ taken in Chattanooga, Tennessee by @jabrams__
